Meeting of June 30th

Our Subject for July is NIGHT! Entries are not limited to astrophotography! Please interpret this months subject however you please! We have two great meetups this month to give you a kick start! Some Tips for Astrophotography here to download from the meeting 🙂

Di Stacey and Friends get together (Facebook For Details)
(From Di) – An unofficial impromptu get together is going to happen on Saturday after a couple of us wanted to have a play with our settings on our cameras. We thought we would ask anyone who would like to come so there’s lots of sharing. I will post details later in the week but thought we could possibly meet take some shots on different settings and then share our results here afterwards? Won’t go forever, maybe an hour or so, Nothing too heavy mind you – just plotting against light and technology

Night Light – Weather Permitting
Night Light practise and Play Friday 10th. Get together 5pm at the grounds down by the river!
Bring a tripod, flash light, sparklers, light sticks or even light sabres, warm clothes and a sense of fun!

We need you to RSVP please, we need to know how many people are coming in order to make sure we will be able to help everyone… There is a possibility that I might have to limit the amount of people attending… so please, if you RSVP yes, you will be holding a spot, be considerate and let us know if you cannot attend!

Be prepared for a long evening of fun (maybe some frustration, but definite fun!)

Bring Tripod, shutter release/remotes if you have 1, warm clothes, torch and some patience and perhaps a thermos 🙂
