Polocross is an extremely fast game to photograph, where you are constantly changing the focal point to frame the shot. Whilst switching focal point as the action moved closer, on this occasion I accedently changed the shutter speed to be much faster than intended. The very dusty conditions sometimes made it difficult to focus when the camera was behind the action but it also helped to highlight the subject and fade out other competitors when shooting from front on.

This old shearers quarters window near Spring Ridge would’ve seen many droughts.
Capturing views through windows has always appealed to me, but given the light at 2pm & the histogram going nuts, this one proved very challenging for me
If I’d had my tripod I would’ve tried bracketing 3 shots
