Taken just after a village tribal dance around the cannibal pot. Considering my lens & settings were far from ideal for this sort of candid capture, I love it. Taken in colour but the image conveys the actual strength & story of this native’s face & the emotion I felt at that moment so much more when I converted it to black & white. I have kept the colour depth strong for this same reason.

Cropped & exposure lowered on background foliage (which I found very distracting).
