3. Nathan
Welcome to the portrait of my grandson Nathan. The picture was taken in a tree lot at my place. Nathan and his brother were helping me clean the area and were more than happy to help ‘poppy’ with his photo assignment.
The picture was taken on a Sony A5000 mirrorless camera using a Sony 50-210 zoom lens. My preference for portraits is black and white, I used a triple shot monochrome option with automatic exposure.

4. Smiling Eyes
A portrait taken of my grandson on an Apple 11 phone.

5. Catitude
So I didn’t find a willing subject with two legs, this is still an unwilling, but easier to bribe.

6. The Aftermath
I like the idea that people can create their own story for this image. I myself have thought of the character as a mad scientist that may work in an asylum, inspired by horror movies. Or maybe it’s the apocalypse and he is one of the last survivors!
Settings used:
ISO 100 f/6.3 shutter 1/80 73mm
I changed the exposure levels by changing the highlights and whites. I also change the contrast by using the dehaze, clarity and textures sliders in lightroom as well as dulling the saturation of colours.
