On top of a hill just after dawn in Glen Innes, I was mesmerised with the contrast and the still reflection of this single tree while the tips of the trees rising from the mist below made a lovely soft background. Getting the balance right with both the top and the bottom fitting into the frame took a few shots, holding the camera high to look down at an angle.
